Interested to hear opinions from those who have experience with this.
Let's say you get a link from a good website. The site is syndicated into 5-10 different languages which changes the anchor text and the link remains the same. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
Canonical's for these pages are self-referencing so they are all being treated as individual pages by Google. I have 1 link which is now showing up as 10 different links in AHREFS. It looks spammy when looking at the link profile, but is it damaging? This is what it looks like:
www.example/com/this-is-my-article/
www.example/com/jp/this-is-my-article/
www.example/com/nl/this-is-my-article/
www.example/com/ru/this-is-my-article/
www.example/com/de/this-is-my-article/
If you have experience with this, I'd like to hear your thoughts.
