    Hey guys,

I understand the whole concept of using a proxy list to visit a website or increase the views on youtube etc, but now I have a question about an action based web page.

Let's say there is a vote page, where I will have to enter information (who I want to vote on, and maybe my email address), and then a "submit" button, and it can only be done once per ip. Is there any way I could switch ip, refresh the page (delete cookies as well, I guess, but that can be done manually), vote again, and then repeat the procedure to put maybe 100-200 votes (or more) on someone or something?

Hah, well, I'd prefer automated if possible, but it not, I could go for manual as well!

    Bump

(Can we bump threads?? If not, I apologize and will not do it again. If anyone has an answer, it would really be very useful to me).

Bunch of ways to get that done, ya.

You could just feed your list into proxyfirewall and then click the "switch" button on the manual toolbar every time, if you're going to be sitting there to clear out your cache and whatnot anyway then that shouldn't be a problem.

If you're going to try and go all-out, you could write a script up in autoit to loop through the page and set proxyfirewall to automatically change IP every X amount of connections/seconds.

Or just script up the whole majigger in php/sql or something, but that's a bit more trouble than you might want at this juncture.

Cloakfish can do that, also has API access.
So cloakfish + reloadevery ff addon would be a possibility.

But CF currently has an issue on some servers when using it on full automated mode and need a restart every 5-15 hours.

    Hi

Can you tell me what you mean by reloadevery ff addon? Is this some kind of ff add-on? Does it auto clear cookies and temp cache files?

If this is what it does that would work beautifully for me with cloakfish for what I need.

    Thanks again for your expertise.

Duh, just bought cloakfish 15 proxies a day, and then when I read the forums (cause I can't get it to work), it doesn't support vista 64. Guess I should learn to read the forums before I buy stuff...

In case you have to use Vista-64 I can give you a refund samspam, just contact me by email.
The download page writes that only vista 32 is supported, sorry if you missed that fact.
You could also have taken an evaluation license before getting a full one, eh ?;)

Persyme: you can find that addon here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/115

It is useful for many things.
It will add a line in the right click menu where you can select a reload interval.
It can be used with Cloakfish but also with other proxy-rotation tools.

    But keep in mind:
It's a cheap way, not a great way to do the job.
You can use curl,imacros,automate(6) and similar stuff to get more control over the process of reloading.

Lol, I was so into setting up the project I'm using them for, so I guess I didn't pay ANY attention at all.

Thank you, that is very generous of you. Let me try and see if I can get my VMware XP Workstation to connect to the internet, then I will use it on that one. I'll let you know!

P.S. Just out of curiosity...will it support Vista 64 in a near future?

I'm not sure samspam as only very few customers actually use Vista-64 (it has no advantages over vista 32 as long as you do not work on extremely long number in math tools).

Maybe vista 64 has a compatbility mode (i really do not know), you should try rightclicking the shortcut (properties).
I'll be happy to hear from you in any case, if you solve it I can share your info with other customers otherwise you'll get refunded.

    Thanks again justone.

I saw that add-on. I believe it only refreshes the page. I thought there might be something that could clear cookies and temp cache files as well. That would be a great add-on for firefox.

    Well, here comes an update.

    1. Read the effing manual (that's for me), hehe. I missed one little detail in the installation, so it was all me.
    2. Cloakfish works fine with vista 64, just run it in XP compatibility mode (right click on the icon in the menu, and select properties).
    3. I also downloaded Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, the 64-bit version, and even though it says that it won't run on Vista64, it will. It even says so on Microsoft's web page. I think I will run everything from my XP-installation here for the stuff that needs the proxies, as it is a fresh installation with no access to any other stuff on my computer.

It took me a couple of hours, but I think I'm all up and running now! Thanks!

That doesn't seem very likely as to where you picked it up.

Many long time members here use cloakfish and give it excellent reviews.

People all over the world use Cloakfish, everyday and are very satisfied with it.

You need to check other websites you went to. That's more likely where you picked up that rogue antivirus bug.

Beside's the fact that your user name is brand new here and this is your 1st and only post. What's up with that?

EDIT: Glad the newbie post is removed, accused cloakfish of being a virus. I included the scans below, it's virus free of course.

    Thanks persyme for your info.
Cloakfish has a few stupids as enemy, competition that is not man enough to invest their time into own products instead of trying to hurt others.

Everyone here is welcome to download cloakfish and run it through a virus scanner, it's a free download and it is clean.

There is also a free demo license to test the functionality on the same page

Here a scan result of the full package:

Estimated start time is between 50 and 72 seconds.
Do not close the window until scan is complete.
The scanner that was processing your file is stopped at this moment, we are going to wait a few seconds to try to recover your result.
If you are waiting for more than five minutes you have to resend your file.
Your file is being scanned by VirusTotal in this moment,
