Hi guys,

What if I decide to abandon one blog and switch to the new one, can I use some of the articles from the old to the new and delete the old ones? And deindex the old ones?

If its your domain 301 redirect to new blog and yes

You can try the 301 redirects to the new blog.

So I can copy the articles to the new site and do 301 on the old site? Do I need to re-write these articles?

You've to re-write the articles. Never go with old or spinned one.

People switch blogs pretty often, so I don’t see why you wouldn't be able to do it. Just do what the others have said (with the 301 redirect) and everything will be fine.

The safest way to do that is through 301. If you want to wait, your deindex plan will work too... but you have to wait.
