I've been a newspaper theme user for many months now and just switched to GeneratePress after seeing MisterF using it for his journey.

My site is now faster than ever and I'm wondering why my stupid ass didn't do more research months ago when I was looking for a Wordpress theme.

Anyways, if you're looking for a great lightweight and simple theme, I suggest checking out GeneratePress.

YSlow score should've been about 99% but It didn't detect my cdn.

Yeah! GeneratePress is one of the best WP theme rightnow.
You can try out Astra for your other projects. It is also working like charm

I've been using GP, Schema for years now. I love Schema better though. But Astra looks amazing. I'll be trying it out soonest

I use it as well.

Great theme.

Plus you can use it on as many sites as you own and it comes with plenty of different styles and demo content.

Speed not always that important. See big authority site many have bad speed score cause loading very many js script for ad, tracking and such.

It is ugly. But you can tweak it a bit to make it looks just the way you want it. Or use a page builder.

I use both newspaper and GP themes, and I like them both.
