Switch to Business Account Pros/Cons ?

Hello guys, today I received an Instagram update and when I logged in my profile I received the notification if I want to switch to a business profile.
I've read some threads on bhw, that if I switch to a business profile my engagement will drop, is this true ? My account is standing at 30k followers at the moment and it's based on a popular niche.
Can you please give more info, should I switch or not ? Thanks.

when i had a business account my engagement was significantly lower compared to now.


plus is that you get analytics and you can boost posts (dont do this if your goal is to grow your page, do this if you want visits to your site or sell stuff)

No diference to me and I enjoy Insights.

There is a decline in post engagement (not significant). Instagram really wants people to put in money..
I suggest switching to business profile as it has insights and your reach will be abit lower than befoe because instagram has considered your account to be in the business category
