Is it possible to switch the location of an account?
I'm talking when you follow somebody, which country or regions show in their insights.
How can I influence which country is showing?
From what I know it is IP based but for which time does an account need to have an IP from a certain country?

yeah it’s ip-based but also depends on other factors like device language and recent activity if you want your account to be seen as from a specific country use a 4g/5g mobile proxy from that country and stay connected for a few days while simulating normal activity

It can be tricky, but it’s possible to tweak things a bit. Insta and other social platforms often base location data on your ip address and activity, so if you consistently use a vpn or proxy with an ip from a certain country (like using https://nordvpn.com/ or https://www.expressvpn.com/), that might help change the location shown. However, it’s not just about one-time usage, it often takes consistent activity from that location over time to make it stick. You’ll need to engage with local content, use location tags, and perhaps even interact with users from that region for a more natural shift. That said, manipulating location too much can look suspicious, so proceed with caution to avoid triggering any red flags with the platform’s algorithms.

Always keep using an IP, from the region where you want applications to be located, and use Instagram normally, it should work

It's a combination of IP and your device location. Sometimes they can detect the SIM card you're using so make sure you remove that

Quite a few ways to go about this. Primarily, you'd want to use the IP based methods. Grab a proxy on the location you want your view/ account to "originate" from and that should do it for most parts. Applied correctly, your viewer (or etc.) demographic should show as your proxy's.

I think Instagram bots can easily detect VPN, right?
