I have a Win 7 x64 machine, and have had annoying BSOD's for the past month or so (ever since I bought scrapebox). I have been very annoyed by the BSOD's and was blaming it on my laptop overheating and/or bad graphics driver. I decided to stop running scrapebox today, and have been BSOD-free ever since. What could be the problem? My network card not compatible with scrapebox?

God I don't want to switch scrapebox from my Core i7 laptop to the crappy centrino duo one with xp.

make sure your windows updates are all up to date, i was getting a whole bunch of errors with my win7 machine until i ran the windows updates, now its running like a dream,

Get a vps. It's better that way. You can look for cheap VPSes for $20 a month.

or move to xp.
ive been using it on a plain cheap ass xp machine with not much on it
been good so far (knock on wood)

That's a hardware issue error....most likely your hard drive is running into errors in the cells and it will fix itself for a while but then it will completely error out and you will have to get a new hard drive and migrate everything over to the new drive.

Good time to backup everything to something like a portbable drive and dust off your windows installation disk.

If it is something win 7 based and not the hard drive itself (hopefully) you can partition the drive into 2 seperate partitions and run a win xp /vista version on the second partition.

This would be of course over kill if you couldn't find a fix for the software (if that's what is causing it).

not sure if its Scrapebox related, the machine can't handle it

Thanks for the replies guys. My computer still crashes even without scrapebox running now. So that's that.

I do have a separate partition where I keep files, so I guess I will reinstall win7 again.

I'd run some diagnostics first c: Sounds like you may have a more serious problem than malware or corrupt files. It's better to run some hardware tests before you cake a new layer of Windows ontop of it

Try switching your RAM. I am running in wind 7 64bit and experiencing BSOD everyday in the last 2-3 months . Run the win ram test and see if it show an error. If it shows then it is a hardware problem, if it doesn't maybe a driver..

Was it obvious that SweeFunny is the owner?? And beside why are you being to pussy always??

I think his point is that Sweetfunny has a support email address.

Public threads like this don't seem to end very well.

you need to run scrapebox inside of vmware with windows XP, sb doesn't like windows 7 or vista

i didn't get a bsod but sb did shut down alot when i ran it on my win 7, but inside of windows xp, i don't have a problem . so try that out and see what you think
