Hello,

I’ve been doing Google ads since 2021 and recently some of my accounts (new and old) have been getting hit with suspicious payments & when appeal google is requesting for a screenshot of my bank account with ; Bank Balance, Bank holder Name and the transactions made by google..

I am using VCCs, is this due to flagged BIN? I’ve never had legitimate “suspicious payments” ban, usually it is not related to payment at all - but these are not only new accounts, also old accounts.

Any tips help, thanks

This is the email, Any ideas? Got it on different google ads countries aswell.Screen Shot 2023-12-05 at 7.59.24 PM.png

I faced the same issue last year and to resolve that issue I have appealed with all the evidence containing information about my payment method, previous payment records of Google, and some other vendors with the same card. After a few days my suspension was reverted and I got my account back.

Yes, it's because of the BIN mainly. Me and my partner were working with aged accounts with good proxy/browser and didn't have any issue in past, and then about two months ago changed the VCC to a different one. Since the change, half of the accounts got suspended for suspicious payments and they're asking for the bank statement, so we're switching the VCC once again. This seems to be the issue.
Another problem is that google doesn't seem to review statement submissions: I appeal the ban, they reply the next day asking to provide a copy or photos of the bank statement, I provide a fabricated one with everything correct (bank's country which matches account's country, holder's name, google transactions with the correct date in combination with other random transactions, currency, etc) and then google just ignores these submissions, they don't even reject it, just don't answer anything. It was OK in past but now it's an issue.

Ffs, that’s annoying. I sent them a screenshot and no reply too. I have a few others with the same BIN but no ban “yet”.. wondering if I close payments profile before ban arrives will it be fine. Will have to test. Thanks for responses guys

Thought I'd update this thread for anyone getting this email with no response, you need to open a new ticket and when the real human being starts responding ask them to escalate it to a specialist for review. They will give you generic advice, but just keep telling them to escalate it and eventually they will and they will review it and reactivate the account.

Turns out the reason there is no responses to these emails is because Google has implemented an automated suspicious payments verification ban (So if you still got this email, you are still using the old way of them verifying (Manually) hence no response. I recently got the same ban on another account, but instead of the normal appeal form it was a form asking about my campaigns and it even asked if I am an affiliate. (wish I screenshotted it) anywho after appealing, I got another email asking for more information and it essentially sent a code to my card bank via a transaction, I then submitted this verification code and a few hours later the account ban was lifted.

same here, account was leggit for the company but they asked documents to verify the info, I was using a credit card but the bank was flagging those payments to google as suspicious and google just ban the account and sent the appeal and the documents they asked waited almost a month until got a response and enabled the account again but they confirm that was the bank flagging the payments but in your case is a vcc or they are checking your account because you are making huge payments for ads.

Your BIN is flagged and you need a new provider which offers premium access. Not the cheap ones.

This keeps happening to me over time, and I am 100% sure that this isn't a "BIN problem" as I tried several accounts with the same bin and some get this and some didn't, the issue here isn't from what this problem is coming from but how to make them respond because even if I submit the document requested they don't even bother to respond to the emails

I used to think suspicious payments were scary, but then I didn't care and kept the complaints
