Hi,

First of all, not me are the person who has been suspended from flippa. But the person who won on my auction and never pay for it got suspended. Well I disputed the sale and got relisted and even sold to another good person.

However the problem is, I would like to know whether will this guy gets dis-suspended from flippa in future? It's because I left a "Negative" review for him, I'm just a little bit scare if his account got dis-suspended and write "Negative" feedback for me too.

This guy really a time waster, he won my auction. I stated there I only accept PayPal, but after he won it, he said that he don't have PayPal account so we go for other alternative and chose Escrow as our intermediary. But the guy still not paying me a cent before, and even until the Escrow period expired.

But before the Escrow period expires, I file a dispute at flippa and got auction was being relisted (I noticed this guy was suspended before I file a dispute).

After everything is done, sold the site to another person. I still can see "You have 1 transaction awaiting feedback." which was for this person, so I wrote a negative review for him.

Will he be able to gets dis-suspended and able to leave a review for me in future, he could be mean to me by writing a negative review for me even if I wasn't the troublemaker.

Here's the Trust Breakdown for this guy:

-10 Their account is suspended.

+2 They've verified a trustworthy phone number.

+1 They've got some positive feedback in the last year.

+2 They've connected a LinkedIn account.

+1 They've connected a Facebook account.

Feedback: 12 (58.3% positive) = 5 negative feedback

Thanks,

I don't use flippa but I do use common sense. Can you read the negative feedback (comments)? If not, then he probably made bids that he wasn't planning to pay for. I would just sell to the next winner. You'll get your money sooner and you can just keep going. He's more than likely banned for good; at the very least he'll be banned for quite some time.

Given the information you gave us it's safe to assume that this guy is simply a scammer of some sort and therefore you can be relatively sure that his account won't ever get 'un-banned'. Generally speaking, I'm yet to see a case where flippa bans (suspends - as they put it) an account and reopens it later. Sure, it may happen in case of a mistake put with a person like this (5 negative feedback, purchases not paid for etc.) it's extremely unlikely.

He will most likely be back...but with another account, so safe for you...
until he buys your next auction, Oh NO!

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd pipe in here. Flippa apply -10 point for a suspended account and -20 for a banned account. Users get suspended but not banned if someone reports them for not paying for a listing. You can also be suspended for having long overdue success fees. Generally, if they contacted Flippa and/or paid the fees owed they would be reinstated.

As Bryanon mentioned, once they ban a specific person it is extremely unlikely for them to be reinstated and wouldn't do Flippa any good to unban them.

@ nouseforaname: regarding feedback, if you have disputed a listing and then the "buyer" leaves you negative feedback, Flippa will remove it, so wouldn't worry - it's not like ebay.

Glad to hear even that guy won't be able to leave me feedback if that guy gets dis-suspended from Flippa in future. BTW, where did you find the source about this? Well, I've asked at Flippa's support as well, just waiting for their reply. However thanks a bunch!

Lets just say I've had dealings with Flippa in the past :D

You were wrong meathead1234 :(
He just left me a negative feedback, WTF! Curse him for the rest of his life! But he's still suspended.

What he left for me:

"Complete timewaster, sells websites and then offers no hosting.Avoid"

I was the one who were waiting for the payment, because of that I was lack of funds to move on with other projects.

Summore, offers no hosting?Did I ever mentioned about Hosting in my auction?

You guys can watch my listing here: http://flippa.com/auctions/88342/NO-RESERVE-1-Day-Listing-URL-Shortener-LLL-me-Unique-Logo

I will try to file a report about this, completely false feedback!!

Sorry, I didn't mean he can't leave you feedback. I meant that if he does leave negative feedback, you can contact Flippa support to remove it, especially if you won a dispute. You'll get people like that sometimes, it's just part of the game :(

This is totally unacceptable, he was the one who f**king messing around.

1st: He chose not to pay me with PayPal while in my auction, I only stated "PayPal" as for the payment.
2nd: We went through escrow and escrow waiting 30-day to secure the payment (Failed!)
3rd: Did I ever mentioned about giving out Hosting in my auction?

Geezzzz! What a retard! During that period, I had to hold my next projects just to wait for his payment. :madfawk:

BTW meathead1234, thanks for your help.

Don't get worked up about it. It wasn't your fault so no point dwelling on it. I had a buyer agree to a $10k sale last month and then pull out 2 weeks down the line. It happens.

TIP: when emailing support ask for Dave - he's the manager and your problem will get sorted quicker :D. Use: FAO of Dave in the subject ;)

Thanks for the tip :)

BTW do I have to include Dave's name inside the subject line?
Example: ?

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks meathead1234, I just contact Flippa's support with the title (FAO of Dave: Suspended user left a false negative feedback for me?). I hope they can remove the negative feedback left by that retard to me.

However, I think I red somewhere at Flippa (from a seller). He had the same situation like me, received negative feedback that wasn't his fault at all.

"I am happy to answer any questions about my feedback if that is keeping anyone from bidding. I only have 3 entries with 1 neg. On the site with which I gotthe neg, I won both disputes through Paypal and Flippa and have proof. This was retaliatory feedback that Flippa won't remove, because dispute was made after the sale -- yet no misrepresentation was found by Flippa or Paypal."

Guys, vote for this: (Offer some kind of protection against retaliatory negative feedback from deadbeat bidders - http://flippa.uservoice.com/forums/...-of-protection-against-retaliatory-?ref=title)

Talk to Dave - he'll sort you out. If not, ask for Luke. They can be quite slow but if you are persuasive they will come through!

All correct.

And yeah, definitely don't expect an immediate response, esp. as today's a Friday and Monday is a bank holiday (also in Australia). I'm sure it'll be sorted eventually however.

Thank God! Flippa's support have reviewed my case and removed the negative feedback and re-calculate my Trust Rank. Thanks a lot guys for the tips and information!

Another way of getting their attention is to post on the http://experienced-people.net/ forums - which is a forum for website buyers and sellers. Both Dave and Luke visit that forum daily and complaints made there tend to get noticed very quickly and resolved ;)

It's a very, very strict forum so read the rules carefully if you don't want to have your very first post get your whole account deleted.
