Hello,

So I came across a website which is speaking about something called "Sure Bets" or "Sure Betting".

Also called "arbitrage betting".

Does anyone have done this before?

What is your outcome from it?

As somebody who lived for a year or so off gambling proceeds, I'm often asked about arbing and whether it's that simple.

So, short answer: no, it's not.

Here are some of the reasons why arbing has downsides:

  1. Open arbitrage opportunities don't stay open for long, so you will miss more than you think

  2. To do them all requires a lot of capital kept in multiple bookmaker accounts because you might only have a minute or so to close the deal before the books adjust so you don't have time to deposit cash (or worse, register for an account). Do you really think keeping thousands out on account with dozens of bookies is the best use of that capital?

  3. You end up dealing with some quite "exotic" bookmakers who might not have a good track record, regulation or might not even really exist.

  4. Often the rules of one bookmaker differ subtly from the rules of another. That means you're not actually arbing across the same kind of bet. You might be alright with FGS markets, but almost everything else is open to interpretation in one way or another.
There is one kind of arbitrage I do recommend though. If you have a couple of hundred tucked away, I recommend bonus bagging where you exploit free bet offers at registration by arbing that bet with Betfair.

In fact, you're an idiot not to do it.

If you have no bookie accounts right now, you should be able to make a few hundred in a couple of months. Some people hit four figures. If you're disciplined and follow up on the reload deals, you should be able to make a little beer money on the side long term. Nothing serious, but far more sensible to my mind than arbing in general.

Also don't forget that once the bookies (some of them) catch you doing it, they'll limit your account.

You look like a dog who have had experience or similar experience in this type of thing back in your young age when you were just a puppy looking to conquer the world, DON'T YOU?

Exactly dear, me know a thing or two but if you want to succeed in this game you need to be really experienced in this field my dear. Most people I know actually make it to $5,000+ profit on Bet365 before getting limited. Even if you get limited, you can still withdraw your funds and then the game of cat and mouse starts between you and the bookie (new accounts, IPs, bank accounts etc.)

I thought bonus bagging was only possible if you live in UK? At least I was aware of that fact few years ago. Has it changed or was I misinformed ?

That is not just UK tho, it is in most of the EU countries but it needs some hell of verifications to do so.

I have lived in a country where everyone between age 12-79 was betting, so everything I use to hear was about betting. So, I know a thing or two as well but this is the first time I hear about this.

Making $5,000 on Bet365 before getting limited is my dream lol and also I love to play cat and mouse. I grew up with TOM & JERRY so....

Same especially in the Balkan countries :D we used to go after and before school to the nearest bookie and place some bets :D You can see all kinds of faces there from young to old, from happy to tired from life :D

Here's another strategy I know of: https://www.reddit.com/r/SoccerBett...ide_how_i_turned_500_into_15000_without_risk/
And here's 1 random fail :D : https://www.reddit.com/r/SoccerBetting/comments/8mj7ws/just_lost_500_pounds_in_arbitrage_betting_by/

As above, you can make a few grand. I did it a few years ago, made $6-7k but then everything was banned or limited. It's worth doing the bonuses for new account, can make an easy $1-2k but too much hassle after that.

I know for a fact that some Spanish dude opened an office with 20 workers in it doing this everyday until October 2018.

I had a friend which used to work as betting operator and by 8 AM when he started working he placed a bet in Malaysias W to score in the next 15 min (Doing this bet so he could buy a pack of cigarettes, low bet low odd).

By 9:45 AM he was $3,500 minus.
