"superbowl" - is it a trademarked name?

I've been reading around that it is and that is it not trademarked. Anyone has more info about it ?
 
Well, although I do not know it 100% I would say YES, I would not imagine the name of such an event not being trademarked.
 
What if you have a bowl that you use for cooking and its larger than a normal bowl. You would call it a superbowl.
 
you should look in registration website , i think its uspto something
 
I went to TESS and those trademarks with "superbowl" in it all have the status as dead. It might depend on how you use the word, what images you use and any logos.

The NFL (National Football League) owns the registered trademark of "Super Bowl" as well as about 8 other variations of these two words.
