*super simple* [awesome idea] - not sure how to exactly go about it though...

Alright so I came up with an easy way to collect general information (Name, Phone #, Email, Address etc.) from local residents and I'm trying to find out how to best monetize the data.

Method:
Setup a large container of some sort in the mall (or high traffic area) and advertise a weekly drawing for a $200 gas card. You should be able to collect hundreds if not thousand entries per week.

What could be done with this information? I thought about finding an advertiser who would accept manual entries into a CPA offer, but they usually have ads on the back-end in an effort to drive leads themselves to offset marketing costs or generate additional revenue. If I were submitting the info manually, they wouldn't get any conversions on the back-end.

Any ideas?

Hmm, if you were to put one in the public area like a town center or something it would probably get removed by the council. It's a decent idea if you get it to work but I'm not sure you'll find an advertiser that will want to monetize such a small amount of data in just one local area. There are better methods using the internet that will allow you to gain leads from all different countries at a much higher scale with a lot less effort.

How bout people who sell Electric cars ?

In your draw card you could ask certain information, such as occupation, what car they drive, hobbies, favorite store. ect ect.
