Super pricing on VPS's

I shot off an email and received a replay from Josh in ~10mins, exchanged a bunch of emails during the setup process (always prompt reply from Josh) and the VPS was up and running a few hours later.

Initial impressions: Did a few speed tests and there was no problem pulling MB/s in 1 thread and the VPS is very responsive - looking good.

Glad to see your new VPS is working well. We've recently upgraded all of our hardware nodes to new Dell servers with 16 cores, raid backed storage, etc.. so there is a large improvement in performance and redundancy.

Hi Stallion - I saw your PM, but I don't have enough posts to PM yet :)

My VPS was online after 2-3 days. It's working although not 100%. Sometimes it feels a little slow - or needs a reboot. I don't know if it's my setup or not. But the wp blogs I've setup works great and speedy 99% of the time :)

I installed Centos with virtualmin. Virtualmin is a big help for newbies who know little of Linux. I got the VPS partly because I wanted to learn how to be a webmaster and Virtualmin has got me started :)
 
Forgot to add, that 1 day after my VPS was online, my original VPS was upgraded. I bought the 4.95 VPS but got higher specs than I paid for :D
 
Hey, thanks for your reply.

Its been 4 days now since my order. The support replied to me yesterday saying my VPS would be online yesterday evening but still nothing.

I think i will wait until this evening then i'll cancel my order.
 
I have a $5 VPS with volumedrive and i must say i'm verry satisfied. I ust got it to play around as i had no clue about managing VPS'es. I had Kloxo and now Virtualmin. The VPS runs great, speed is good.
As soon as i finis working on my websites and get some decent traffic i'll upgrade. Overall score from me : 9/10

Problems met :
1 - You have to update the IonCubeLoader because the Command line from the Veportal interface is not working with the version installed
2 - (Temporary) In the last few days was a bit slow/offline because of some DDos but they usually recover pretty fast
3 - ( not really a problem- it's my fault because i'm a NOOB ) I wish i had Cpanel there but now i can't afford it right now

Overall they are very helpful and good guys. Hope they will provide services for many more years to come and maybe come up with some cheap bulk mail servers :P

I have now seen from other threads that Josh hasn't responded to others as well on the forum so I have dropped my plan. In case any of the members know of a reliable unmanaged vps. Please let me know.

No this is still available, just because he hasn't replied to a few pm's or email doesn't mean that this service is unavailable, it just means that someone has something better to do than hang around here
 
I am sorry, I didn't mean any harm. Since my multiple emails and posts have not been answered for the past 2-3 weeks , I assumed that the service has been shut down.

I wish Josh all the best in his endeavors!!
