I just tried contacting them using their contact form, and was shown this:

'Server Error in '/' Application.
Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.'

I was looking at maybe using them if they are physically located somewhere other than Texas or California, but it looks as though they don't really have it together.

I want to buy a VPS from them but I can not. Just gives me contact info page but no continue button or anything

Sounds really nice!

I have shoot them an email

Bought the best VPS+Cpanel. Looking forward to recive it.

I am mainly going to use it for hosting some site. But I am also wondering if I can run tools such as LFE and Scrapebox on it?

I dont think they have windows boxes. Just get one and run whatever you want via wine.

This is what I was thinking about, use wine to use WINDOWS softwares.

lol, you expect cpanel to be free?

No one forces you to use it, there are free alternatives.

start with one with cpanel, theres a whooooooooooooole lot of cpanel youll never have seen before as yet, hand management of a server handling domains/email/databases takes a lot of knowledge to do properly, not what i recommend for n00bs to linux

What are cpanel alternatives?

yes. I have a windows VPS with them.

If I can use Wine, I think I will not need a Windows VPS server, right?

Can I use SeNuke, Interspire email, scrapebox and maybe Xrummer in this VPS? Is there any kind of limit in email sending like Dream host, HostGator and others (about 200 to 500/hour)?
I have a list of clients with about 10k email addresses. I have no problem in Dream Host, but it is very slow to send all messages.

Same here.

This offer looks interesting. Not the best price, but like the Administrator of this website said in his review... he`s worked with them for a long time without problems.

------

What about O.S? What do you think about UBUNTU?

;)

Sorry for the noob question.

This is a great offer, but I would prefer not to pay for cpanel. Are there any free alternatives, or is it possible to install a cracked version on your own?

Also, do they give you any ability to install your own operating system. I would love to be able to install windows here.

Thanks to anyone that helps me figure this out.

made an purchase for a vps 4 DAYS AGO and yet to receive anything from them. i have emailed them twice on both their support emails, and it has been more than 24 hours and so far no reply and nothing from them.

Josh,

I have just sent one email with my doubts.

I think I will can work with you, without problems.

it's unmanaged. You can do whatever you want with it

After read this post.. I do believe this will be possible.

I will take some time in VPS to learn more about how to configurate LINUX and etc. After some months, I will migrate to a dedicated server.

  • CPU: 1Ghz Dedicated Usage
  • RAM: 512 MB Dedicated Memory
  • HD: 30 GB Hard Drive Space
Total Cost: $ 4.95

This configuration is better than from my old pc: Pentium III 850Mhz with 256Mb..kkkkk (Today I have a MacBook pro).

Let's wait.

:)

Any reviews from anyone ho has been with them for +10 days?

the price is very cheap,i will try the package 3.

...
I got one of these and must say it is pretty fast. Actually it's much faster than a vps i'm paying more than twice as much for. This is too good of a deal to pass up.

vd use hostnoc/bustnet/whatever other damm names they have for bandwidth but they have their own AS and ip allocations and you deal direct with them on complaints, i wont deny iv had my share of complaints but all the requests have been reasonable, never had the plug pulled on a box or lost data or anything like that, theyv been nothing but great to work with

I've never had any issues with it.

The ADMINISTRATOR of BHW wrote in first page they use this VPS to host BHW forum.

Well, I think this is sufficient to you have an idea.

Maybe you can make a test. If you don't like... get out.

I will do it.

:)

Sorry for the noob question but is this an Off Shore Hosting Service?

Will I be able to run TV Series and Movies Websites and be able to cover my tracks?

this is NOT offshore, this is usa based

you can run those sites still but you must comply with dmca complaints, pretty much as simple as that... shrug

If someone still has doubts then let me tell you: These are the baddest-assed VPSes I have ever seen. They run on Quad Core AMD opteron servers and everyone gets his dedicated core depending on your package. For example, I'm on the VPS2 package and I have 2 dedicated cores with 2Ghz speed which is awesome. The VPS is ********ing fast-I have been with slicehost before and VolumeDrive is as fast as them but a lot cheaper as well. In a nutshell, for this kind of hardware you should be paying like $20-$60 but you're getting it for virtually "nothing".
