Super important question on revenue sharing/CPA network - Please Help!

Hey BHatters ,

I want to know what you think about the following situation - if a customer comes through me (i.e - my affiliate site) but instead of using the usual way of paying (because he didn't know how to use it or whatever other dumb reason) he calls the company using the phone and they make a sale - do I deserve a commission for that? Let me know what's your stance about it. Do most affiliate programs pay their affiliate in this case?

no ..you get no commission

If the customer picks up the phone and order, there would be no way to track where the customer came from. So in this case, no option for you to get the commission.

you wont get the commission because they is no way of knowing where they came from.

This is why sellers love CPA, they get a ton of conversions without having to pay a penny.
The worst thing is that there is no way around this, how did you even find out that this happened?
