Okay, so I started a new WordPress niche site, uploaded the welcome page and the site was indexed in 2 days with no backlinking. The only difference was I installed the Google XML Sitemap plug-in. Has anyone else had similar results with this plug-in or was it just my luck day, or 2 days?

XML Sitemap plugin works. I am using it in my all wordpress blogs to give a way to google and other search engine to index my blogs' all URL.

Yeah mostly it indexes itself . Depends on Big G mood .

Yep Ive had wordpress indexed in minutes too. It's great for hot trends :)

XML sitemaps are very good for indexing, I've had a thousand pages website indexed within a week thanks to this

I added the XML sitemaps plugin to one of my sites about 6 months after it was finished and I immediately got another 50 pages indexed that had not been before. So, if you have pages that are not getting indexed by G it certainly helps with that as well.

My sites with WP indexed even without content and plugins. Dunno the reason :) Probably big G loves WP

Wow, okay, so this is good to know that I'm not crazy. This plug-in is certainly a keeper.

And everyone who replied that it only takes minutes to get indexed with the XML plug-in just blew my discovery out of the water, lol.

As you can tell by the replies, it wasn't your xml sitemap that got you indexed. But that's a great little plug-in to have activated on your blog.

Hehe... Google XML Sitemaps is one of the must plugins for WordPress in my book.

Google XML Sitemaps
-- Of course creates your sitemaps, pings the SE about new posts/pages.
WP No Category Base
-- Removes the category base from your permalinks. The category base is fucking retarded and screws up WP's URL structure. Which is stupid as shit out of the box.
Next/Prev Post Link Plus
-- Allows you to title your next/prev post links as well as use anchor text.

And of course, whichever SEO plugin suits you best. AIO, Pressor. Whatever.

1-Use " Fetch as Googlebot" in Google webmaster tool.
2-Update sitemap, edit time in <lastmod>.
3-Resubmit sitemap.

I use wordpress on all my money sites and I get indexed rather quickly also. I do always buy root domains tho and try to avoid free platforms like wordpress.com and blogger sites. I can say tho that the first index on blogger sites does happen rather quickly it just takes a ton of time after that for other pages to show up.

You Can use social bookmarking for ast Indexing..it is the Best way to Index any Website or page.

thanks.
