Super Easy Affiliate Marketing For Newbies

On the third page, for me at least, it says:

Maximize your listing's visibility
Featured Plus! ($19.95)

Showcase your listing in the Featured area of search results

Gallery Featured ($19.95)

Showcase your item in search results with an enlarged picture and close up views. Free Gallery Picture included.

Add pictures to make your items more successful and to take advantage of features like Gallery Picture, Gallery Plus, and Gallery Featured.

Home Page Featured ($39.95)

Get maximum exposure! Appear in our Featured area and your item is likely to appear on eBay's Home page.

What is your feedback score? I think it is related to that. My feedback score is 3. I only see the Gallery Featured option (see attachment).

maybe it's because we chose "Self Help" instead of Self Employment...I dunno

I chose 'Self Employment'.

Pryda, you are right. even if I chose the Self-employment category, there's still no Homepage featured. I guess it really depends on the feedback score.

My feedback score on that account is only 13. You may need 10.

BTW, if you're not doing this yet, you'd better start because I've noticed my original post being copy and pasted to other forums already.

This was meant for you guys here at BHW only.

Thanks for the tip. The using of Ebay works well with hot Christmas items too. I tossed a page on my website dedicated to one of the hottest toys of the season last year that was soldout in stores. I placed my affiliate banner from my CPA network on my site.

Next I ran a one day auction on ebay. I put my webpage on the auction for auction goers to visit the link to register to get the free toy.

It worked like a charm I pulled in a stack of cash from the cpa network from the replies I got.

Just an idea don't know if it's too late for Christmas this year or not.

Might be of some value.;)

Won't matter. A little birdie once tested a CPA offer promoting free ipods
Long story short, he made off like a freaking bandit.
In his copy he said something like:

Why buy an ipod - Get one free
Your an idiot for spending money on an ipod

:)

I got to stop giving some of this shit away.

I Fu**ing love this place. Ruck, Pdaguy9 that's marketing genius right there. Info like that usually comes with an overinflated price tag. Thanks alot fellas; gonna try this one out for sure.

Did i mention i love this place??:D

Killer post guys.

Ruck going to PM a quick question if you dont mind because this is already making the rounds in other forums.

Thanx

Feedback of 10 is correcto!

One of my blog readers new to the game commented
he got his first sale tonight after only a few days of
implementing what I taught in the Zero To Hero Series.

Outstanding!

Thanks for this thread guys. I wonder how good the bigger ticket items move this way?

Won't it look suspect if a lot of other people are advertising the same products in classified ads?

Or is the idea that you apply this to niches that don't seem to be exploited yet?

what a great beginner's thread...I wish it had been here when I was a newbie!!!!
LOL...i just may use the info anyways!

I have been trying this for at least 6 months (every so often) without success and I think it's because I wasn't paying for the featured listing on the main page. I didn't think you could do that with a classified but clearly I am wrong. I am going back to the drawing board, thanks for tips.

Who cares? You'll get people visiting and they'll either buy or they won't. Suspect to whom?

Now you're starting to catch on... ;)

I just got a feedback of 10 and now I see the extra listing options.

If anyone has a feedback below 10, go to the 'digital art' category and buy some of those $0.01 wallpapers/screensavers. You will have the new options in no time! :)

Here's a few more tips to make this work:

1. The headline of your classified should be only 32 characters long (including spaces between words) because thats all Ebay gives you on the front page.

You don't want to put this in the headline:

"Learn How To Make Money Online With Auto Niche Inspector!"

because it will look like this:

"Learn How To Make Money Online W"

and people won't click to find out more. So get the message across in 32 characters or less.

2. I know I said in the opening post to copy the sales page, and that's an easy way to do it, but I have found that my own copywriting is more effective. Not everyone is a good writer so this may not be an option for you, but if you keep in mind that Ebay visitors are usually total newbs to affiliate marketing, you can tailor a message that appeals to them. Whereas the sales page for most new ebooks speaks to those of us familiar with the basics of affiliate marketing.
