Super back link experiment?

I have a domain which has a natural looking link profile from a previous owner with all directories and some decent press releases. (its a brand) that i am going to use as a tier 1 with relating articles to my niche.

As a tier 2 i am going to 301 a domain with 100,000 spammy link, eg ugg boots etc

Do you think this will have a positive push on my money site? Or effect it badly?

I don't recommend that unless you know how to rank with spam (which is not the case, apparently).

Why would you think a 301 gives you the juice and no flags/penalties? If you dont care about the domains go ahead. If you care, be nice to them and do quality links. You find plenty of aged domains you can buy. Today less links that are good is better than 100k spam links. I have domains with DA 50 from just 5 links.
