Oh man, I am so angry and pissed, I was going to buy BTC for $1500 when there was a huge drop and now I am so angry I told myself not to make the move, If I had I would have been holding $4200 in my digital wallet, I know its looked upon as a gamble or whatever but I am sure as soon as BTC surpasses a worth of $5000 its here to stay for good and there wont be much we can do about.

From my point of view BTC is going to stay up, too many people are using it for it to be shut down by government, it would cause an outrage and government don't want that.

So many people look at bitcoin as the currency of the future and I have to admin they may be right. I wonder to myself some days whether bitcoin will pass the $100,000 mark and if it does, will it be the currency of the world, or will it just be a storage for cash, like we look at gold today and if does turn out like gold will it be as shaky as it today.

Too many questions... too many lies...

Anyway I could go on a lot more but I gotta get back to IM, please share your thoughts below and also all those lucky gamblers that have invested in BTC, I wish you well.

Don't worry, BTC will crash again and then you can buy. At least that's my plan. Current levels are unsustainable anyway, no matter how loud the BTC lovers scream that it will keep going higher and higher.

If you're going to be mad, be mad that you didn't mine it way back in the day when you could mine a coin for under $50. Being mad that it jumped 1,000 points suddenly is like being mad you didn't bet on black in Las Vegas.

There was multiple times to buy it at $1500 or even less. If this price made you super pissed then it would have meant you wouldn't have held it for long in the first place. In an alternate reality, you would say you are super pissed to have sold it earlier blah blah blah.

Buy now or don't buy. But don't whine about it.

If I had spent $100 on BTC in 2010, I'd have $850k by now.

No regrets though. Sure it'd be nice to be rich in bitcoin, but it's also a bubble waiting to burst in my opinion. I wouldn't want to risk it.

Same here. I was going to mine, but didn't. Then I was going to buy $500 worth off eBay for like $30-$40 each (which was overpriced at the time) but didn't. THAT is something to be bitter over, but who thought BTC was going to go into the thousands? Nobody at the time, they were hoping to see $100. We could all lament not buying Apple or Amazon stock 10 years ago as well. Nothing to do now, just learn the lesson. If you see something with huge potential it is worth it to toss a few dollars at it just in case.

Mate i was about to invest into AntShares about month ago with $200 when the price was $6 and now am even more angry than you

Great stories everyone, but mine is best. I had the idea of Bitcoin in 2007 and thought nothing of it, so sold my idea for a bag of chips and two cans of Skoll

It's worth remembering that for every BTC like investment, there are 100's that fail if you put your money in them. So the point I would like to make is that it's better to build a business around something stable then to be pissed about a missed opportunity around something unstable.

But also, to be honest, I will be buying crypto currencies after the next crash.

I can beat that;

I dropped out of my basketball PhD, I had a friend ask me to invest £500 in this idea he'd had called Bitcoin, I laughed at him and instead I invested in LastMinute .com instead.

My parents were going to invest their life savings to purchase apple shares when they were a few bucks but couldn't because of legal reasons, and look at how much they are now.

Everyone has reasons why they couldn't buy when they could, but they're just an excuse. Get over it and look for the next new thing!

I feel your pain OP i used to have about 2-3 bitcoins when the price was around $300 and now that i look back on it i'm kicking myself for not saving/investing it

I was looking at investing in BTC when it was $9/coin. Decided not to, hindsight is 20/20

Be me,
> got paid in bitcoin when it was about 900$
> 1 month later it's 2k $$
> sell everything
> next month bitcoin 3k $
i guess you could say i'm not good with investing, or economics, or life.
Can't complain though, got my cash doubled .
