A Serious DDoS attack has took down one of the most known BitTorrent trackers. Demonoid has been inaccessible to its millions of users for more than a day and is anticipated to continue to stay offline for quite some time. The tech admin of the troubled BitTorrent tracker made a statment to TorrentFreak that the events at hand are not easy to fix, and proposes that apart from the DDoS there may have been an attack from a different angle.:shrug:
 
I was gonna post a thread about it until I read this. It is currently DOWN for me. Before, it was just that the server was too busy and I encountered that before. Now, the webpage is inaccessible. Fuck, that really sucks.

Demonoid is down for like 2 weeks, rumors says they moving to Demonoid.xxx not sure :hmmmm:

Usenet is a newsgroup, its the attic of the web and an old part of the web with all sorts of goodies in it. As far as the time of stuff you find in torrents, newsgroups are said to have all that and more in such astronomical content and velocity that there is little or no penalty for the downloader. At least this is what I've been led to believe.

I've decided i need to make the jump to usenet finally sounds like it's the way to go now, i've been getting tired of public torrent sites
