Suggestions for Pinterest clone

Just had a conversation with my partner and we are about to start a pinterest clone for our country.
Has someone of you started such a social platform like Pinterest using a clone?

I found many clones out there, many of them very expesive (apptha .com joomla) and some others cheaper (pinclone .net and apptha .com wordpress)
Please suggest if you already have one - Which way to got? Joomla? Wordpress? And which clone of them all?

I use pinterest clone website for a client, convertpress is the theme name. I did tweak it to match what the client wanted though. Hope that helps!

I tried pinnect. Its ok, but not perfect. Lot of config and stuff resides in txt files and not in the database. Well it still has a few bugs but in general it does what it should.
