Suggestions for Good Hosting - Urgent please

Hosterbox has been great to me, perfect uptime too. Definitely would recommend.

thanks a lot... added to my list and will use for next host...

where are you going to use the service? so we will know what hosting is better for you?
Try Singlehop :)

i am using multiple hosts to have diverse ip structure for all my power websites....

Go get a dedicated one. They all have good results. I specially recommend HostGator and Godaddy ( don't blame me for a bad shared / vps host)...

How was your experience with Hostgator?
I would suggest it since its pretty good for almost all kinds of sites and has a variety of reliable packages with quick support.

thanks ... will add to my list ...

just know 1and1 is a headache.

their uptime is very good.. but everything else sucks.

they have their own cpanel.. which isn't a big deal, you can figure it out. but some changes take longer then cpanel.. like when you create a new mysql database it takes 10-15minutes to apply.. creating subdomains I think took time as well.

emailing support takes a week to respond.. and normally they still don't answer your questions.

all of that can be overlooked by some people if you're just looking for cheap shared hosting with good uptimes.. but when I tried to cancel through cancel.1and1.com.. I got the last page to review.. I click "accept" and it gives me an error. I emailed their support and I think it took 7 days to respond (after my rebill).. and they sent me off to a collection agency because I refused to pay.. around 16$.

1and1 is a terrible company, I don't suggest doing business with them or their specialists either. I had a nasty domain situation with them in the past and never was able to resolve it. Their cpanel sucks and their support is unhelpful.

ASmallOrange - i'm using this along with Bluehost, Hostgator, and WPWebhost. When it comes to customer support response time they're number one. The last downtime I had with my websites hosted on ASO was three months ago (checked my uptimerobot) and it was just 27 seconds.

also have used them in past for other sites and it has always been good
