Hello Mods,

I hope you're doing well.

Just a kind suggestion from a seller's perspective only if feasible and aligned with BHW policies.

There are many sellers in the marketplace with multiple service threads some with 5, 7, or even more. As you know, there are only around 20 visible spots on the marketplace homepage (excluding stickies). When sellers with multiple threads bump them all at once, other sellers’ threads (especially those with only 1 to 3 threads) get pushed to the second page within minutes, resulting in reduced visibility and reach.

If possible, could a rule be introduced that sets a minimum time interval between bumps of multiple threads by the same seller? This way, it ensures fairer exposure across the board and prevents thread flooding.

Thank you for considering this suggestion. I truly appreciate the platform and the efforts put into keeping it balanced for everyone.

Best regards,
Kabe

Thank you for the suggestion.

We actually just discussed this in a team meeting, and here’s what we concluded:

Each sales thread is treated as its own separate entity, with its own 24-hour timer. Sellers can choose when to use their bumps - whether they use them all at once or spread them out, the effect is the same. Each thread gets bumped once and can’t be bumped again until its individual 24-hour timer resets.

In a way, this is their Marketing strategy, and every seller can choose how and when they want to utilize their bumps.

If you want more exposure, feel free to choose a sticky, banner, or email blast from our Advertising options.

Hope that clears things up!
