Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a quick suggestion regarding the current requirement of having 15 posts before sending DMs on the forum.

I believe reducing this post count to just 5 would be beneficial for both new and existing members. It would allow users to connect and communicate more efficiently without waiting too long, while still maintaining a good level of engagement and trust within the community.

What do you all think? Would a lower post count for DMs help improve communication and business opportunities here?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Thanks for your suggestion, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

We understand the desire to make communication easier for new members, but after careful consideration and experience over time, we believe that the current 15 post requirement strikes the right balance between accessibility and protecting the community and the forum.

Reducing it to 5 posts would, unfortunately, make it significantly easier for spammers, scammers, and low-effort accounts to abuse the messaging system, something we've worked hard to minimize.

15 posts might seem like a hurdle at first, but it's not, and it encourages genuine participation and helps establish a basic level of trust and engagement before private communication is allowed.

We’re always reviewing forum policies to make sure they serve the community well, and your feedback helps shape that process, so thank you again.
