No, a website isn’t mandatory for blogging. You can use platforms like Medium, Tumblr, or LinkedIn. But having a website gives you full control and better income options.

No, a website is not mandatory for blogging. You can start blogging using free platforms like Blogspot or Medium. However, having your own website gives you more control, better branding, and higher chances of monetization through AdSense or affiliate marketing.
 
The very first blog I wrote was for a sports blog owned by someone else, 15 years back. So, you don't need your own website, but ideally you should focus on creating one if want to do it long term and plan on making it your source of income.

Yes, of course..I suggest you to watch tutorials about blogging on YouTube. And one more thing, do not pay for any courses. You are a beginner and thus might feel tempted with earn money fast courses.

A personal website isn't mandatory to start blogging, but in the long run it's your best asset if you're serious about building authority or monetizing. Platforms like Medium or LinkedIn can help in the early phase, but you're always at the mercy of their algorithm and policy changes.

If you're blogging in niches like SEO, ecom or tech reviews, having your own domain gives you a big edge in terms of trust, structured content (siloing, internal linking), and monetization flexibility.
Also makes it easier to integrate tools (analytics, mailing list, custom CTAs, etc).

Not required, however, owning your own website gives you full control over the content, design and user experience, makes it easier to build your personal or business brand, optimize seo and tap into more money making opportunities
