I want to try Google Adwords for a long time but there are lots of things that are stopping me.
First of all, Lack of knowledge.--
When it comes to theory, I know a lot of stuff to just start any campaign. But I never tried one practically so all of the knowledge still count as zero. Because real-world learning is a real lesson to learn.
Secondly, Budget --
As the budget is one of the most important things which is holding me to try Adwords. I know it takes a lot of $$$ before seeing any result on AdWords. Need to burn $$$$ for data/optimization.
My Plan --
So I thought of the best way is to just work on a single product. Not any e-commerce type of site. A very very very targeted niche (or problem) with just a handful of keywords (10-15).
I also need to take care that the product I choose will surely be competitive and is solving some real-life issue.
When I find something like that (BTW I found a product that matches these criteria).
I will look for a competitor and do solid competitor research via SpyFu and other tools like that. (I noticed one more thing that my competitor is doing Adword for the product from the last 5 years. Means they are getting a solid result that's why they are still continuing)
In short, I will copy everything my competitor is doing. Exactly like them. Same keywords, same website structures and everything same.
So, Before giving this a try. I want to ask you guys that what's your opinion regarding this. If you have any adword experience kindly let me know your thoughts on this. Is this a good way to start ?
