Suggestion for file locking software?

Hi guys,

I work for small organization and we use window 7 desktop to share in our network ""workgroup" as our central filing system. We used "lock dir"software to lock sensitive files when we were using XP but now we upgrade our windows to 7 and "lock dir" file locking software doesn't work properly.


Thus any suggestion on software that you guys used which works on workgroup network file sharing system? We have around 10 employees in the organisation.

Windows EFS. Maybe use it in conjunction with BitLocker to further protect each networked computer. Will slow things down a little but may not be noticeable depending on your hardware. Drives not using NTFS would present a problem.
