Suggestion for BHW growth

Have you guys ever though of buying other forums, taking the databases and registering all their users to BHW and then just redirecting their domain to BHW? This could grow BHW a whole lot, bring a lot more users and revenue for BHW?
 
Advertise on BHW
But wouldn’t that totally ruin bhw’s reputation and make it look like a spam site, and increase the bounce rate by many folds? I personally wouldn’t do this if I was the admin. I am sure bhw already has a steady stream of users.
 
Probably just better to let it come in organically, maybe advertise BHW on other forums of similar nature though.

It is already so popular that is is shown in Netflix.

The process seems interesting but it sounds like a scam. It already has much presence on the internet.
 
Few guest posts and niche edits too I guess!?!!?
Bhw is already famous

Trust me i am on many other forums, most those people don't even know BHW exist, some of them thought BHW is dead when i talked to them too, this world is vast.

Everybody will not like this place and this forum accepts that with maturity.
 
Maybe also have privacy issue. Can not just take all data as u want.

Doing that is only going to dilute the quality of the forum.
So far it has all been organic growth for BHW and people who stick around have been here for years.
Crowding the forum unnecessarily means more spammers and scammers.
 
I don't think BHW needs a push. People discover the forum, they like the content and then engage on the forum. This is how forums build a long lasting presence, organic and loyal users.
 
I'm afraid that by doing this the forum risks losing engagement, I don't know, I see it almost like the follow unfollow method on social media.
