[Suggestion] Fight Necroposting

The similar thread suggestion at the bottom of the page, is MOST LIKELY how people are skull fucking these old threads. I know, I've done it before, as I see something that was juicy to my mind, and I go in with keyboard blazing!

Maybe an auto-close thread, feature could be figured out. Close thread after 1 year of inactivity. That way, the threads could still be viewed as possible information, but would be locked up so they wouldn't push newer threads down.

My suggestion: Lock threads after 1 year inactivity to fight Necrophilia

What you do is make a post-requirement of 1,000 posts to post into any thread with a last posted in date older than 6 months old.

Yeah, this will be usefull, because every day newbies are bumping old, way old threads... Best so far I saw was 7 years old thread...

I like this idea. Like StackOverflow. They "protect" the thread. Minimum reputation required to reply on old threads
