[Suggestion] Display a message above the reply box in old threads

I see many old threads get bumped recently, and in many cases, newbies find an old thread by searching or directly from Google, and they just don't think about (or even check) the date before they post a comment (which makes sense).

So I thought that similarly to the message found on sales threads, I think that displaying a message like this can really help reduce that amount and encourage new members to engage in their own threads:

This thread is {days since thread opened} days old, and the last comment was made {days since last comment} days ago. Please avoid bumping it if your comment doesn't add value to the discussion, and consider {linkpening a new thread} instead of commenting if you have a question you want to ask the community.

That's an interesting idea. It might look unsightly seeing a warning at the top of every "older" thread. Thread bumping currently isn't against the rules of BHW, although we're aware that some users inappropriately bump threads.

At the moment, it doesn't appear to be a big enough problem to warrant asking the tech department create another add-on. However, if you come across any posts that you feel are violating the rules and happen to be bumping older threads, feel free to report them. If enough of these reports are valid, then the team can definitely revisit this idea.
