Suggestion: Clarification on unlocking 'conversations'

I spent a good deal of time yesterday posting replies in an effort to unlock PMs. I got a few likes, which is good social proof i guess, but only now did I realize (from seeing a screenshot in the newbie section of why someone DIDNT get his unlocked) that by "posts" you are actually referring to New Threads.

A post can be anything: you can post a comment, post a reply, but what should be specifically pointed out is that 15 new threads are needed to unlock newbie+. Not "posts".

Actually, a post can be a post or a thread, it doesn't just have to be a thread. The reason why your post count would not go up is if you are posting in the Lounge. The Lounge count doesn't coutn towards your post count.

Additionally, please do not artificially inflate your post count for the purpose of sending PMs. If there are members you wish to contact on this forum, you can either talk to them publicly in threads on BHW, or you can post on their profile to ask them to contact you until you have enough posts to send PMs.

I understand that this can be a frustrating limitation for new members, but it's necessary to prevent people joining the forum to spam or sell outside of our marketplace.
