[Suggestion] Adding a star rating system for BST threads

Something that I feel like would be nice is a new system that allows members to have an idea of how good a service is before even clicking the thread.

Say adding a 0 - 5 stars rating that appears perhaps next to the header of each BST thread; and that clicking on it displays a preview of each review the raters made. I would suggest only allowing JrVIPs and higher the option of rating a service. Also, all lazy (whether they're positive or negative) reviews on ratings should be removed.

I really feel like this will fight all the spam that is often created in BST threads and it will give members an easier time to check for detailed reviews, please cast your vote!

That's why there's a filter and only JrVIPs or higher are allowed to add a star rating and on top of that poor/lazy star reviews should be removed and issued a warning.

If you allow anyone to rate the service without filters no doubts it'll be exploited.

I totally get why it was removed before but IMHO it only needed some tweaks such as:
Allowing JrVIPs or higher to rate only.
All reviews should have an order number somewhere.
Some parameters for rating services should also be set; such as
fulfillment of promised TAT, likeliness to buy again, likeliness to recommend that service, Quality/Price balance, etc.

Back in 2013, it was jr VIPs who were abusing the system. It was them rating 1 star to their competitors new service within 5 minutes of launch.

Nah. not a good idea unless someone who is rating the bst threads are verified that they actually purchased the service.

Do you remember the requirements for rating a service back in the day or was there no filter other than being a JrVIP?

Every rating should include a 30+ word review. It will help bst owners and moderators to identify weed out abusers.
