Recently I have seen a large amount of posts where people ask the community one of two things. Either they how they can use blackhat tools to bring down their competitors or how they can hack a site to get it back from someone who stole it from them. Something along those lines is in my opinion untolerable. In the first case blackhat to bring down other competitors is just a poor idea and you should really be applying your skills in other areas.

The second type of post where someone claims that they have been screwed or had their server hacked or just want to get rid of a competitor is more serious. There is essentially no way to verify if these claims are true and for all we know if we give these types of posters advice we could be helping them sabotage or take over a domain that was completely innocent.

I think both of these types of post should be prohibited and enforced with a zero tolerance policy.

Also about the downloads section I've noticed a lot of newbies who's first post is download request. I think that should result in an instant ban. In fact I think that first posts should be screened to a large degree to determine whether the member has potential. Alternatively the downloads section could just be closed again.

Well google bowling is a black hat technique, and this is black hat world, so why should they get rid of that?

It's not about the post count it's about the fact that members are joining just to get access to the downloads section.

Also I would like to defend my point. The idea of blackhat SEO is not to make others pages look worse! Its to make your own look better and outrank them, although you may use blackhat tactics I think that targeting competitors and trying to get them banned is just shallow and shows that you really have no skills at all. If you need to resort to making your opponents look worse than making yourself look better then you really do not know how to properly implement blackhat seo. To quote a favorite motivational speaker of mine

"Self-improvement is the name of the game and the objective is to make yourself better, not others worse."
