This is right.
If you make your keyword different every time you add your video into the system, you WILL see a difference. If you make your keyword different but relevant and get it as much exposure as you can afford credit wise, your video will be suggested to a lot of other videos with that keyword in the title.
It also helps to have that keyword in your description already.
Basically what Vagex does, is it searches for your video link in the Youtube search box with your chosen keyword alongside it. This way the viewer " Searches " for your video every time it watches you, instead of just going to the direct link. This means you are being found in a more natural manner with the words of your choice.
Interesting. I'll play around with this too. Honestly, in Vagex, I've utilized this feature but primarily to use keywords in my title and description. I'll experiment with using it with other keywords that I want it to associate with.
Do you think that this would work using the above scenario of "Clive Barker"? For example, to my horror channel use him as a keyword for a video - even if he has nothing to do with the video in question? I wonder if that would effect the suggested videos?
