That’s a good point, thank you for sharing it.Although it's an old thread, I want to add this comment because it's important to not be blinded by high commission % withough understanding the percentage of what exactly you're measuring.
In this case, you get 50% of the cut Trip Advisor take from advertisers. This gets to about 1.5% of the cost of the consumer.
This is obvious to experienced marketers, but someone just starting out might actually fall for that.
