I need a laptop for work while traveling. My work is light - Chrome, Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Canva.
I already have a windows laptop that is working fine. But it's heavy and gives only 1 hour of battery backup.
Now I want something which is lightweight and gives longer battery life. It should be around 1 kg and gives around 8 to 10 hours of battery life.

The obvious answer most people will give — Mac. But I don't want to switch to macOS and I don't want to spend that much money if my work is little and revolves around chrome.

I am thinking of getting a Chromebook but on Amazon and Flipkart, almost all Chromebooks have star ratings of less than 4.
Is anyone using a Chromebook here?
Please give me some suggestions.

HP Pavillion 360X, 14 inches, convertible 2-in-1 laptop.
It has 256gb SSD or 512gb SSD + 4GB RAM or 8GB RAM + 1TB hard drive, touch screen & keyboard light, intel core i5 (mine is core i3 10th gen. tho). Battery life is quite strong.

This is what I use and can't complain. Thank me later.

Acer Swift 3, you are welcome. I just got it for this same purpose.

lenovo thinkpad series or microsoft surface laptop series.

I would say Lenovo Thinkpad, I also had one from HP, but idk I liked the lenovo more.
Good Day.

buy yourself a thinkpad x280 or something like that 12 inch i'm rocking thinkpad x230 with ubuntu mate & can't complain the battery i bought it 2 years ago & still do 4 to 5 hours & the speed its good i can't ask more

Dell is the best Product for Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) driver updates.

MacBook is the best product if you wanna have stability

Purism Libre (with QubesOS) is the best notebook for linux users, which wanna have privacy

...but for traveling i think Lenovo is the best one because they are cheap and in the time of IBM, the concept was that a coffee on the keyboard cannot destroy the notebook :D
