As many people have already posted, I also recommend HostGator, and Namecheap for domains. Their support and pricing is ok. I have never had a problem which would not have been solved during the live chat. I was with GoDaddy in the past, would not recommend them (support takes time, non-standard control etc. panels, complicated interfaces, higher price points).
 
I think Arvixe is so good and working very well so you can choose this hosting company and any other USA based is best for you.
