Suggest me a course/tutorial to design a site using API

For instance, I want to create a social panel using API from another site.

How do I do it? Please guide me.

I know basic web development but clueless with stuff such as above.

You can search for courses on Udemy. There are plenty of them. You can even find the same courses for free using some Black Hat techniques. But I would suggest you to spend $30 - $50, and you'll learn the skill.
