The us servers are more likely to show captcha than uk and germany ones, but there are a lot of us servers, like 200 of them.

It works great, I dont have many issues with google popping up with captcha as opposed to others.
It's pretty cheap if you go 3 years plan @ $2 a month
even their 1 year is pretty decent @ $3 a month

just go to any “group buy” website, and you can buy an account for $5 per year with Nord VPN.
