I am looking for a proxy range scanner. Can you suggest a good one.
I want some thing that yield a list that will be easily be scanned by charon. If download link is provided it will be a great help.

I don't have one, but a good thing to do is to start with the known government ips, etc

I am looking to find out L1 proxies for that what will be the values of - time out and sockets( don't know if it needs) for HTTP?

I am confused about one thing that when i use proxyfire to scan L1 proxies found on some forums i get some socks. How does it possible? Is it due to using different proxy judge ?

What I learned that these sites keep a log of proxies and publish them on their sites so your proxy will be inactive very soon.
