This doesn't work for many, but it's worth a try. For me it doesnt work.

If it's a Core Web Vitals issue, then re-submitting your URL in the GSC, won't resolve the underlying issue.

Its happens to me but its not my homepage. Its my inner page, i'm even submit to gsc but not working. It seems i must wait a few days. A long ago i have same issue but when i submit to gsc it will indexed instantly. Now its not.

The article is already indexed for months but now is disaapear.

Its frustating if the page is already ranking.

I have this problem with some pages for a month and now I can't do anything because Google is fixing the index request in search console.

Not worried, sometimes google refreshing search results and when your website has been vanished from google search. The above are blocking Google from indexing your site and if the page is already in their index they will remove it after the next time it is crawled.

This happened to me previous year in september. Is september/october and google bugs a thing ?

The reasons may be varied. But recently, google indexers have been experiencing problems. I would suggest you just give it some time; it will just come back. But meanwhile, you can try submitting the websites (Http, non-Http, https, www and non-www) on GSC.

hey OP..did your issue got fixed?

I got similar issue...my site doesnt show up when I search it straight and when I do with "site:" it shows home page and 2 post. I have around 48 posts that used to appear in Site search.
However, when I search posts title it shows in result.

Sitemap issue as well : post.xml and pages.xml are not showing up in GCS..just sitemap_index with latest date read.

I am worried more about my homepage not showing up in straight search (without "site:")

anyone got idea..what could be possibly wrong?
