Sudden Traffic Increase Today By 40%

Hi guys,

I am noticing a sudden increase in my traffic today like never before, by almost 40%. At the time of writing these words, I have got 1200 visitors, whereas in normal days I only get 650-700 visitors at this time.

Anyone noticing the same as this?

Hope its because of Festive time traffic , you nailed it mate , keep rocking up to New year sure you can get unexpected traffic .
 
Op you got a boost from the recent update I think. My one site fucked (not completely) by Google and one got nice gain.

a lot claim decrease, partly perhaps due to google and holiday season.
 
since google update my site has been experiencing down flow
 
Decrease for me today. Thought, people are celebrating Christmas and not online. Let's see tomorrow for boxing day.

I not sure come this week and next week people tend to travel around , no doubt can surf on mobile but still will be less online perhaps.

Yes, it's possible. People tend to surf more while travelling, especially if they are not driving. Wonder how the sales/conversion will be.

It's a pure organic traffic, I have checked it. Now the increase is 100%. All Glory and Thanks be to God. That's pretty amazing.

I hope so, but this never happened before in the past years. This is the first time to get such a huge leap in traffic at this time.

Hope that last long. I am sorry for your other site that got hit. Hopefully you'll recover soon.

That's not so true. My website is live since more than 3 years, this is the first time it happens. Maybe there's a google update going on for some niches.
 
People who claim the "SEO Expert" will say:
It's just a Google dance. Bla..bla..bla.

In my opinion you're just lucky and your hard work has paid off.
