Sudden serp drop... why?

Basically there is a website of mine that is dropping 1 position day after day... I was #1 first and now I'm #4 after 4 days... It seems every day I'm losing 1 position and honestly this scare me... Over the last month I did no linkbuilding, I have added no article. The KW is easy and "competitors" (they doesn't even target my KW) that outranked me did nothing at all.

The only thing I did over the last week was to restore a PBN that were offline from June and I didn't knew. All my PBNs I used to rank are still indexed. I notice not all of my PBNs appear on google webmaster tool though they did last time I checked few months ago.

I can't understand... any suggestion please?

Update your target page, add an article or two and see if this shakes things up. It's normal to have movement in SERPs every once in a while.

Google dance, it happens all the time

Everytime you change the ip you will find yourself in new position. Google like playing with the serps all the time...

could be something done more than 1 month ago, but not too likely.

could be that; how strong is this pbn? this could look suspicious to google as usually sites do not stay offline for so long; but this could be temporary then, maybe.

I would wait more to see what happens.

An important backlink may have been lost. Check your backlink profile to see if anything got deleted.

Dont think so its google dance. Many of the websites have been affected from last 3 days. I guess there has been a google update.

It appears normal unless you are pushed out of serps or u lose significant rankings. Otherwise algo is dynamic and you will keep losing or gaining spots.

OP, Have you check for on-page error or crawl errors? It might be one of the reasons.
