2018/10/15: Added sidebar
A: Some issue in my website that created duplicate pages for mobile and non mobile links
B (2019/02/19): Sudden drop in impressions and increase on CTR

Looks like I've added a sitewide tree navigation with a link to every page on my website a few months ago and also bought a seo package from here on bhw. Not sure who is the culpit. I disavowed some backlinks.

I've seen some other members of bhw that complained about decrease in seo ranking from adding a wordpress tree navigation on each page.

Not surprised. Think about link equity flow. You just introduced X amount of links to almost every page of the site. While the boilerplate algorithm/patent does exist, it does still pass a certain amount of equity.

"The patent says that it has the option to not use what it calls “boilerplate” links. It uses navigational links as an example. That appears to say that links from the navigation and possibly from a sidebar or footer that are repeated across the entire site will optionally not be counted. They may be discarded entirely. This makes a lot of sense. A link is a vote for another site. In general a link that has a context and meaning is what is counted because they say something about the site they are linking to. There is no such semantic context in a sitewide link."

Your site also might be to small for them to determine its boiler plate.

Just trouble shooting here!

Possible Solution: Determine the pages that have the most links, then remove or tweak / refine the navigation to have less links.

Hopefully this helps
