Hey guys

Checked my rankings this evening (as I do almost every evening) and see my rankings have all suddenly dropped off.
Site isn't that new. Domain is 13 years old. Most recent services I've used were Galaxy Blog Network (20 posts) and another manual niche blog commenting service.
If it was hit by one of the updates, I suspect one of these services was the cause of it. Everything else I've done in the past has been fairly white hat.
Have been steadily climbing the rankings the past 6 months and cant bare the thought of losing all this progress... :(

Any suggestions or ideas? Any decent ways to detect bad links and remove them?

Thanks!

When did you use those services? If within the last few days then it could be Google Dance. Give it a few days and check again.

I've used the galaxy blog network service few weeks back and during the past 24 hours I've seen the contrary. My sites are rising in serps nicely.
I've also seen a lot of movement on my videos, some old vids which were not ranked for months jumped to #1 overnight, so there's some crap going on again. Moz forecast is also relatively high.

Sometimes when you try some services to rank your sites, they actually lose rank and then after some times they eventually come back with a better rank.

Just give it some time IMO.

More than likely just a google dance
be patient and see what happens

Either Google dance or you got hit for lack of content or duplicate content. I revived some sites that got slapped by adding 500 words of unique content and deoptimizing some of my existing anchors on a blog network. Shot back up in a few days.

Google thinks that your links are not natural.
