All of a sudden all impressions went to zero. Any ideas why this has happened?

I've posted a lot of informal content on the domain and post 1-3 news articles per day.

All search keywords have tanked also.

I bought some backlinks on here also, I'm wondering if it's that.

Any suggestions?

You said you bought backlinks, are you sure those backlinks are not spammy?

there is a google update rolling, was a core one which started on 2 November and finished 2 days ago, and a reviews one which started on 8 November and still rolling.

It's scary to think that Google can just NUKE your website for no apparent reason.

How you got so much impressions on 42 days old domain?
Do you use AI for your content?

I researched easy keywords with RankAtom. Then created the informal pages with AgilityWriter and then optimized with NeuronWriter.

if your screenshot is accurate then your site is not even 1 month old, so it's too soon to draw any conclusion. The honeymoon between new sites and google oftentimes lasts for 1-2 weeks during which time you'll see traffic (my guess is that google are testing the peoples' reactions to your site's content and, based on this feedback, they will decide whether to rank your site, and where), but once the honeymoon is over your site will either rank somewhere, or is nowhere to be seen.

And if your site is sandboxed you can expect NO traffic for anywhere between 3 months and 2 years, so I would say keep working on the site as normal (keep publishing content, keep building internal and external links) until the site starts ranking for real. If it doesn't happen within 1 year then you can assume that something is wrong, but 1 month is too little time to panic

Thanks for clarifying. It was strange that it was ranking well for compeitive keywords and now its totally dropped off.

Have you checked your indexing rules (meta robots/robots.txt) to make sure nothing has been changed there. Thats generally the first place I look when something goes to 0.

No it's not strange.

This is how things work with google now. As soon as your site gets categorized as something the rankings completely change.

Even more worrying ITT is the guy selling "SEO articles that rank" who blamed this on backlinks and clearly doesn't understand basic SEO.

A recent core update that's actually still rolling out,
This one did hit more websites than any previous one, even for totally few strange reasons for many people,
Give it some time before making any changes, nothing clear so far
