Success with Music on Insta

Hi, I have an insta account with over 20k followers. However, I don't think a majority of them know anything about my music.
I'm planning to post more videos on there.

But was wondering what y'all do to get music heard on insta. Do you use any specific hashtags, or external promo?
Any other tips?? Thanks

Is your pages niche music or a personal?

If its not a music based you may want to create one for your music.

It is music based. Do you have any more insight?

The hashtags would depend upon what you do, in this case you mentioned music which is a very broad niche. You need to deep dive, find what hashtags are trending, what kind of volume they have and where's your potential to hit the explore page.

Reels is the next big thing which is getting a lot of visibility, so instead of full video clips, trim them down to smaller shorter teaser kind-of clips, those would work better and then link them through bio to your videos and full tracks.

I think you should ask people who like your music at IG, how do they find you will be a very important reference
