As many have pointed out, AI content has a very short shelf-life on Google. It can probably make some quick bucks at times, but is not sustainable.
I see a lot of misinformation here...
Google made it clear in a press release they made in 2023. Penalizing AI-generated content doesn't go with Google's philosophy.
They insisted that it's the quality of the content that counts. Google will have no problem ranking AI content higher than human content if it is more qualitative.
Now, I agree that on classic “ChatGPT” type content, as we've all seen, there's little chance of ranking.
But some SEOs have developed in-house tools with Make, and start-ups are springing up like jauris.com and Semji. Indeed, combined with other advanced SEO technologies and search-intent analysis, AI can produce highly SEO-friendly content. I myself have several sites powered by jauris, with very good results (the content is personalized to the brand, so it's impossible to detect the AI).

Google could not solve the AI issue. I produced content with AI on YouTube, sometimes it closed the channel, sometimes it deleted the video, sometimes it closed the channel after gaining 200 thousand subscribers in 1 month.

When you've read enough human written content and enough AI content, it's easy to edit the AI output to create AI content that reads human.
It's a process but as I said above, definitely doable. Have the AI write you an article from a certain perspective, with a certain writing style & voice, and ensure that the AI is prompted to write sections consecutively & with continuity.

Yes, many sites will get burned
Yes, you can make a lot of money if you rub 2 braincells together
I suggest you look at any ai websites you find, plug them into semrush, ahref etc etc. Check the dates they got hit, think about why this one was hit but a different one wasnt?
Look at even ai sites with good backlinks to remind yourself that backlinks alone can't prevent a hit right now.
Look at even sites like poe(.)com, pull up their semrush, see what happened to them but also how long things lasted.
Think about what you could do better to fly under the radar, think about how you could make the most money while looking the least suspicious
tldr, test things yourself, dont fully trust strangers online and be skeptical until you confirm something yourself.
Many people here will not even be trying but still come on to tell you "it cant work".

Unfortunately, I know a few different people who were having AI write tons of content and they were just using human editors to make sure there were no errors in facts or crazy grammar. Made bank with organic search engine traffic for like 3 months and then overnight that went to basically nothing. So I guess it does not work long term,

I've one that got 10k traffic within 3 months back in 2022 but got hit by G update, there is no long term for Ai site IMO

If you add too much content too fast you're going to be penalised by google. Add 5-7 good quality articles per day and if you start to rank add around 10. Adding too much content too fast is viewed as spam from Google.

so successful use-experience in AI content.I had a website that was generating pretty decent amount of money every single month. I won't disclose the amount, but it's something a lot of people earn monthly over here working 9-5.
All the content on it was AI generated with a little tweaks here and there from my side. A few months ago, it was hit by one of the google core updates and the traffic has been declining ever since. It barely get any traffic now

AI generated content works for me nowadays, because I used for some of my websites.
