whoa whoa not so fast. This is not another one of those "I quit" threads like you may have been expecting. I just wanted to share my journey with everyone out there and let you know that yes, it is possible to make good money online.

So lets get down to it. Why did I title this thread success if I quit? Simple...

I quit my day job pushing shopping carts at Target!

You guys have no idea how good that feels to say that and I did it all with the help of BHW. I am currently a student in college studying economics and political science. The goal is to go to law school here in a year and pursue one of the only topics I have ever been interested in at school. Enough about me though, thought I would share a few tips and things that helped me succeed.

Motivation: In order to succeed in making money online, you need to have something to motivate you. You need something that is at the back of your mind and kicking your ass into gear to take action EVERY single day! If you do not try, there will be no positive outcome from your actions. For me, this was a combination of 3 things. The first being that I started working at Target pushing shopping carts outside in the super hot summer weather. Not only was I absolutely miserable, but people looked down on me because of the position I held. I was willing to do whatever it took to escape that daily hell. The second was that I had always wanted a fun car to drive around. I drove a 78 trans am for about a month in high school but I was basically scammed by a guy who sold me a rusted out POS. The third and final reason that was driving me every day is that I needed a way to pay for law school as that is not cheap and is my true passion. Whatever your reason is, find it, embrace that it will "get better" but only if you are dedicated and put in the work!

Networking: This is a tricky one, but is absolutely essential. For the last 8 months I have been working on my projects online and I really could not have done it without all the help I have received through BHW. Do not be afraid to ask questions and get to know people. You should however do your homework first and look elsewhere before asking questions. I have met lots of amazing people through this forum from all over the world that have helped me as well as provided excellent services, which brings me to my next point.

Outsourcing: This is a huge part of the reason I was finally able to quit my job. No one can be great at everything, nor do you most likely have the time to. SEO is one of these things for me. It is not that I am not great at it (isn't everyone a guru of SEO now days? ha!) but that it is simply more effective to spend my time elsewhere and outsource to other people. If you are new to the game, this does not mean you can just go to the BST section and buy whatever you want to. This will most likely result in poor results and failure. I would highly suggest you read, reread, and then take some action. Learn how SEO works and what works best. Once you find yourself having a good grasp of what it takes to rank a site, then you are at the stage to outsource to other people.

That is really all the things I can think of off the top of my head. You must take action! You must create value! If you can do those two things without giving up, you will make it. You do not have to settle for a minimum wage job you are unhappy with. Create your own opportunities. Good luck, and thank you BHW for everything ;)

So indirectly your motivation was to "achieve" something in a society, which is either money or a highly payed job. Both brings money I presume. I guess thats also my motivation. If you don't have motivation, you will never succeed in IM :)

    GZ again btw
