Congrats...
If you are looking to improve your income on fiverr, than what you need to do is spend more time looking for what could you offer... I see people are creating mass accounts to get into something that is oversaturated and have already some people over there who are "big guns" with their stuff, and have few 100's or even few 1000's of delivered gigs... there is no point in trying to win that battle. What you should focus on is gigs with smaller interest, which means less competition... that way you will be able to get your gig in top 5 and keep it there in no-time (fiverr search algo is weird, but if your gig is getting orders all the time, and you make deliveries on time all the time, than dont worry, you will always be visible). Yes, there is less revenue to get there, but it is a lot easier to get it runing, and after you have few gigs like that you will be making some decent money...
Regarding the competition...
My suggestion would be to check your customer every time you get order, and see when did that customer register on fiverr... many times competitiors will register new account and order your gig straight away...and that is first thing that can make you suspicious... in that case you should contact support before you start with your work, explain them how things are and ask them if they would be willing to remove a negative review in case you get it for nothing...
Yeah I know what are their rules (they dont remove negative feedback if customer doesnt agree to it), but if you have proof that you played open cards game with them, and that you did everything as advertised, than in 90% of cases support will remove negative feedback. When they remove feedback, dont forget to ask them to refound the buyer... Believe me, it is better to give them money back and make that gig for free because otherwise customer can give you negative feedback again...and you will need to deal with support again, which makes it all soooooooo frustrating.
You might find this bothersome, but as soon as your gig start making money, and you get nice position in search, you will see how pricks start doing their dirty work... I have canceled over 80 gigs just now in january... I canceled them before I started with my work so i didnt spend my time working on them, and I canceled them because they were from clients who were trying to bring me down, and from clients who never repply to my msg where i explain them everything about my gig so they cant complain later that they didnt know this is bot or something...
All this might sound funny to someone, and I know that 80+ gigs I have canceled is something people would never do, they would rather try keeping those $320+, but for me it is more important to keep my account perfect and trustable... and I believe that is why I already made over 700$ on same account where I canceled 320$...all this in just 2 weeks.
OK, I dont wanna turn this into novel or something...
Always keep in mind that trust is what people like and return to!
